Weekdays 5AM-10PM
Weekends 6AM-8PMThe access tag reader will activate 5AM sharp on weekdays, and 6AM sharp on weekends, so if you're a few minutes early just beware that you won't be able to get in.
Please be mindful to wrap up your workout by 10PM sharp on weekdays and 8PM sharp on weekends, so you have plenty of time to head out before we close.

You must be a member to access the gym outside of staffed hours. Guests may purchase a Casual Gym Pass (10 Pack) and receive a key fob to train outside of staffed hours.
When you sign up, you will receive a key fob tag which gets you access to the club when we're not staffed.
You are required to scan in each time you visit. Each member must scan in separately.
Allowing someone else to you use your key fob is prohibited as it’s attached to your own credentials.
Unauthorised access / tailgating fee of $100 applies.

There is free street parking with no time restrictions.

Yes! The restrooms on the second floor have showers.

Bookings are 1hr duration, where you can access all facilities (ice bath, sauna, hot spa, compression boots) in the Recovery Centre.
For bookings during UNSTAFFED hours (Weekdays 5AM-10AM, Sat 6AM-8AM), you’ll have to turn on the sauna yourself (allow 15 mins to heat up).
Bookings must be made 12 hours in advance. No-shows/cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a $20 fee.
SHG MEMBERS
Book via our SHG App, under the ‘Facility Bookings’ tab. Payment can be made on the app.GUESTS
Purchase a Recovery Pass. Complete the online registration, then book a session under the ‘Book’ tab > ‘Facilities’.IMPORTANT! Guests must book within our staffed hours, otherwise your booking will be refunded.

Yes! Your guest must purchase a Recovery Pass and create a separate booking. Please note, if this is their first visit, they will have to create an online account.
Reminder: Bookings must be made 12hrs in advance, so make sure to secure your spot as we have limited spots available!

A clean towel, swimmers, and a water bottle. If you forget to bring a towel, you can purchase one from reception for $15.

No, the Recovery Centre membership is an add-on of $40 per week on top of your current weekly gym membership.
E.g. If you are on our $28.95/wk gym membership and have a Recovery Centre Membership Add-On, you will be debited $68.95/wk.

No, our Recovery Centre Memberships are offered to SHG Members only.
Guests can purchase Casual Recovery Passes!

There’s no commitment period for the Recovery Centre Membership, we just need 4 weeks’ cancellation notice via email info@strengthhousegym.net

Users must be aged 16 and over.

We require 24 hours’ cancellation notice in order to be eligible for a product refund (a Recovery Pass will be credited to your account).We do not offer a refund of payment. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
Memberships

We do not currently offer free trials, however if you come in for a casual pass and sign up on the day, we can discount the $20 from your joining fee.

Unfortunately, we do not accept Fitness Passport memberships at Strength House Gym as we are a private facility. We offer a range of flexible membership options to suit your needs. Our team is happy to discuss the best plan for you!

Yes, we require members to be 14 years and over to join. Members under 16 will need an adult to train with them.

Yes! SHG allows a minimum of 2 weeks - maximum of 6 weeks FREE membership suspension per calendar year. After that, it will cost $5/wk.
You can freeze your membership via our SHG App.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Cancelling After the Minimum Term is Complete
Requires 4 weeks’ written notice via email. Any outstanding transactions must be paid before submitting cancellation notice. All scheduled direct debit payments are still applicable during the cancellation notice period.
2. Cancellation Within the Minimum Term
A $250 cancellation fee applies, and cancellation notice must be completed in writing via email. Cancellation is processed immediately after fee is paid.

Payments are processed every Thursday at 10AM to cover the upcoming week.
Please note, it might take a few hours for the transaction to appear on your statement.
If you don’t have enough funds at the time of processing, you may incur rejection fees.

YOU RECENTLY SIGNED UP.
Payments are processed every Thursday at 10AM to cover the UPCOMING week.Your initial payment will be debited the Thursday coming (after your Contract Start Date), which covers both the prorated amount for this week, in addition to next week’s membership fee.
E.g. If you signed up on a Monday, you will essentially be paying for a week and a half’s worth of your membership fee.
YOU RECENTLY FROZE YOUR MEMBERSHIP.
Freezing your membership will pro-rate your membership fee, so essentially you will be paying up until your contract freeze date, and the remaining amount will be added to your next billing cycle after your membership is reactivated.

Our payment provider applies a $10 rejection fee per missed payment.
To avoid this, ensure you have enough funds before the time of processing (10AM Thursdays).
Please note, it might take a few hours for the transaction to appear on your statement. If you don’t have enough funds at the time of processing, you may incur rejection fees.

All scheduled direct debit payments are still applicable during the 4-week cancellation notice period.
Your last billing day will be the closest Thursday prior to your Contract End Date. Please refer to your Membership Cancellation confirmation email.

If you choose to make a manual payment, we strongly advise to do it before Thursday 10AM to avoid any duplicate charges. If this happens, it will just be credited to your account for the following week’s membership payment.
If you made a manual payment on Thursday after 10AM, our payment provider would have already begun processing the payment. It might take a few hours for the transaction to appear on your statement. If there were insufficient funds at the time of processing, you may incur rejection fees.

As part of our system's Debt Collection policy, key tags will be deactivated after 14 days of outstanding payments. To unblock your key fob, make a manual payment via the SHG App.
Your contract hasn’t started yet. Please check your contract start date or reach out to our team for assistance.
Your membership is frozen. Please refer to your confirmation email to check your reactivation date.
